Glass: There are many areas in bathroom, which has glass like mirrors, shower cubicle partitions, etc. To clean these surfaces glass cleaners are required. Glass cleaners are not heavy-duty cleaners. They do not contain any abrasive substances like salts. Usually they are alcohols.
Metals: The faucets consist of various metals. Hence, metal cleaners are required as bathroom cleaning agents. It depends on the nature of the fixtures whether the cleaners would abrasive, chelating or surfactants. In case, there is some special coating on the fixtures then some metal cleaners are also available like phosphoric and citric acids.
Floor: There are various types of floor cleaners, which are available in the market. One needs to choose the correct type for their floors. The general floor cleaners are acidic in nature. In case, the floor material is sensitive to acids then heavy-duty alkali cleaners are also available.
Toilets: The bowls of toilets are usually porcelain based. The huge factor that regulates the choice of toilet cleaners is their disinfectant properties but is not aggressive. The cleaners can be either powder-based or liquid. The powder-based ones are generally salts, which are soluble in water. The liquid ones are diluted acids like formic, hydrochloric, phosphoric, etc.
One can choose any type of cleaners, but they should be careful about handling them.
